I was trying to order your calendar as I have done every Christmas for quite a few years, however I am not a member of paypal and intended to use my debit card. So guess I will have to buy a Scottish calendar from somewhere else.

Dear Sir- I would like to decorate my home with an enlarged canvas photo of Eilean Doonan. Large like 30 inches by 40 inches. Is there any way at all I could get one of you photos and then enlarge it at a shop? We spent a week in Dornie s couple of years ago and fell in be with the village and the castle. Thank you for your time.

    Hello,
I love your pictures of the Castle.
I was in Scotland 2 yrs ago, but we didn't get a chance to visit Eilean Castle.
We were in Hawick, Jedburgh and Edinburgh. I do hope to make it back.
I will be purchasing a new camera, but so far I have been taking pictures with my cell phone(which takes nice pictures)
But, I want to get into photography a lot more seriously. If you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate. I love Mother Nature as my model, she is usually the best model.

    Thank you

Great photos on the site! but I have seen one not on the site of the motor yacht Amaryllis passing the castle. I do work for a company that offers this yacht for charter. Can I get hold of a high res version for use in their brochure? I can send a copy if you need to see it

David, not sure if you saw my message on FB, so I'll put it here.. Did I order two calendars to be sent to Virginia, by any chance? I honestly can't remember. I already received the ones I ordered to be sent here, but I can't remember if I ordered some for Virginia.
    Thanks.

It's a shame you don't show any previews of the calendar except the front cover.
Just little icon sized pictures would be enough. I don't like buying a calendar based on 1 picture.

    Jane MacRae (Saturday, 11 November 2017 13:14)

Recently I ordered the eight pack of Christmas cards and one of them came with what appears to be a red breasted robin on the front instead of Eilean Donan Castle which Mrs. MacRae brought me to for a visit the night after I stayed with their family in Inverness at the estate in 1973 and when the Kennedy family were the caretakers.

If you would be so kind as to let us know why we received the eighth card of a red breasted robin that would be great.

    Best,
    Jane Anne MacRae

    Hello,

I was wondering if there would be a way to get permission to use one or two of your photos on a book cover and on the book's website? I will be self publishing a novel on Amazon; part of the novel takes place at the castle and in that area, and I was hoping to be able to give readers a place to actually visualize. If you could please contact me at kebrown2007@yahoo.com, I would appreciate it. Thank you!

    David,
My husband and I visited (for the 5th time) this summer and bought one of your prints from the gift store (#33 in the Items for sale page). We would like to hang a larger copy of this over our mantle and need permission from you to have it enlarged. Would you grant this? This is for personal use only and it will be copied only once. We paid about 25 Lbs for the print. We really want to hang you over our mantle! Thanks, Nara . naraduncan@yahoo.com

I received my order of a wonderful print very timely all the way across the pond to Canada. It is beautiful and I am very happy with it. Just a note not a criticism, a small amount of the glue used to paste it to the matting seeped through and caused a small stain on the white edge of the matting.Perhaps less glue in the future. I love it and can't wait to frame it and put it up.

    Melanie Gustin (Saturday, 30 January 2016 17:49)

    Hello David,
Knowing how much I love Eilean Donan, my husband gave me a cross-stitch pattern of it for Christmas. I am thrilled with the idea and his labor of love, but the photo used is dull and doesn't begin to do the castle justice. I live in the US but have visited there twice, follow you on Facebook, so know how truly photogenic that castle is! The woman who developed the pattern has a shop in Portree and told my husband that copyright laws limit her choices of photos to work from. How might I get around that? There are many of yours that are magnificent and I would love to work up one. Please let me know your thoughts. My email address is: mgustin13@earthlink.net
    Thank you!
    Melanie

Thank you for the fantastic photos of my favorite castle in all of Scotland! I first visited Eilean Donan back in the 1980's. If I were to write a historical romance novel - Eilean Donan with it's brooding rapture - would be the ideal castle for my characters. Love the daily dose of castle that you share on FB. Kudos!

I fell in love with Eilean Donan the first time I visited Scotland 21 years ago. Unfortunately I've never been near it when the weather was other than gray and dreary - hence my rather lame attempts to photograph it myself. So thank you for all these amazingly lovely photographs. My friends and I are all REALLY impressed.

    Good luck to you.
